A career in financial planning is still lucrative despite the worldwide financial crunch. As long as money is used in our economy financial planners will be needed. You have to pay your dues to become a financial planner but once you pass the test and prove your mettle, you can expect a handsome return for your efforts.

I've been involved in taxations for longer then I care to admit, both on the individualized side (all my working life-time!!) and from a legal point of view since passing the bar and following up on tax law. I've supplied a lot of advice and rectified a lot of wrongs, and I must say that what you've put up makes complete sense. Please continue the good work - the more individuals know the better they'll be armed to deal with the tax man, and that's what it's all about.

If you ever want to hear a reader's feedback :) , I rate this post for four from five. Detailed info, but I just have to go to yahoo to find the missed bits. Thanks, anyway!

I grew up in the 80's and from my parents basically learned that when it was time to get a car, you went out and got a loan, paid car payments and when that car didn't suit you any more, do it all over again. And the type of car only depended on how much you could pay out each month before going below $0
I have since tried to break that cycle. Haven't had a car payment since oh..2004. We work hard on our kids promoting debt free living concepts and the evils of credit cards. They're getting it too, because they joke about it and realize that most people w/big houses, nice cars etc are living paycheck to paycheck just trying to keep up w/the Jones'. It all starts at home! Now I'm teaching my parents! Quite the turn around eh?

Good job Peter, I am excited to read what you and the weProsper.org team are doing for our children. I know my children are ready to learn more financial literacy.
